Two worksite command dialogues
1
A worker confirms the marked stacking area and uses a coordinated team lift.
2
A signaler stops the work, keeps the worker outside the danger zone and gives the reporting route.
Before acting on a short command
- I recognized stop and retreat first
- The object and marked location are clear
- The lift leader and count are clear
- The landing point is clear
- The correct fastener and tool are known
- The machine reached an authorized safe state
- Defects and finished goods stay separate
- No scaffold or exclusion line is crossed
- The designated signaler is visible
- Abnormal conditions are reported immediately
A phrase list is not equipment authorization
- Episode 14 covers complete demonstrations
- A phrase does not replace machine training
- A command from an unauthorized person may need supervisor confirmation
- Emergency alarms and site signals take priority
- When object, direction, number or hazard is unclear, use Episode 13 clarification phrases
Short commands are useful only when the worker recognizes the hazard and authorized procedure. Stop and clarify whenever the signaler, load path, energy state, tool, material or destination is uncertain.
