Korean for Hotel Check-In and Room Problems
A hotel lobby feels simple until you must confirm a reservation, understand a deposit, find your room, or explain that the key card does not work. This lesson keeps the Korean short, polite, and practical.
Do not try to describe every detail at once. At a hotel, one clear sentence usually works better: I have a reservation, the key card is not working, the room is too cold, may I get more towels, can I store my luggage?
The goal is not perfect grammar. The goal is to protect your stay: confirm the important information, ask for help early, and repeat the answer back before you leave the desk.
Use the cards in the order a hotel stay usually happens.

Ten-minute hotel rehearsal
Practice in sequence. Say the Korean aloud, then imagine the staff answer and confirm one detail.
Point to your reservation screen and say: 예약 확인 부탁드립니다.
Hand over your passport carefully and say: 여권을 보여 드릴게요.
Before paying, ask: 보증금이 있나요?
Before leaving the desk, ask: 체크아웃 시간은 몇 시인가요?
Find the elevator by asking: 엘리베이터는 어디에 있나요?
Stand near the door reader and say: 키카드가 작동하지 않아요.
If the room is cold, combine room feeling plus system problem.
If noise continues, say 소음이 심합니다 without blaming a person.
For extra items, use 더 받을 수 있을까요 instead of demanding.
When you do not understand, ask for slow speech before guessing.
If the answer is important, ask staff to write it here.
For a taxi request, prepare the destination on your phone first.
